What's Happening To Jean Brands?

The competition and the soul of jeans can be confusing sometimes.
It started first with Wrangler (TVC below) with a campaign "We Are Animals" won the Grand Prix for Print at Cannes International Advertising Festival last year, and now they're back with Red Animals version...

So it's now "Back to basics" time for jean companies! We are animals and stupid as well... Guess what's next, I'm sure a new campaign like Hungry People (hungry for love, information, sharing... u see, it's flowing easily :)) should be on its way for any other jean brands...

Singing Coldplay in the rain! OMG!!!

Who wants to sing Coldplay songs in the rain with 70,000 people at Wembley Stadium? Answer is so obvious; who wouldn't...
First White Lies, most loved young Brit band.

Then Girls Aloud (Not sure if that was the right choice... Couldn't figure out if they can sing or dance even with their own songs... A new suggestion for their name; Girls Please Not Aloud)

And Jay-Z; we appreciate!!!

70,000 people at Wembley Stadium. What a great crowd;
And Coldplay's performance was absolutely un-believable!!! It rained for an hour and my clothes were still wet whilst I was writing this post...
We got a little cold but undoubtedly worth it! The most modest band of the world with the most fascinated visual show, yeah it's Coldplay!!!
And here comes the pics;

Millions of butterflies....
That's how one should leave the stage...

And yay rain, did I mention it rained non stop for a hour...

Tens of yellow balloons...

Absolutely 10s of them :)

Sounds Like Teen Spirit; A Really Feel Good Movie!

I didn't know what to expect from the film when I was invited by Time Out London (Yeah I did it, I won a ticket for the first time!!!)
The synopsis was not saying much, it's a popumentary, a movie about junior Eurovision??? Whatever, I've just went to Prince Charles Cinema in Leicester Palace. The movie started and it was like silence cut in by laughter. The film was directed by Jamie Jay Johnson, frankly I didn't know him before. But I can definitely say that I am glad to know his name and definitely follow his coming movies in the future!

In a nut shell the film was focusing on 4 contestants in 2007 and it was really a feel good movie! You have the same feeling of Slumdog Millionaire but definitely more fun!

You can find the trailer below. The film is coming across the cinemas on 8 May. Do not miss it!!!

Alternative Fashion Week Notes

The Alternative Fashion Week has begun, at last! And my notes;
Alternative Fashion Week is one of the most excited free fashion shows.
The audience is huge, not to mention the big interest of press.
The designers are consisted of fashion design schools' students (Colchester School of Art & Design, Derby University, Newham College...), new graduates and young designers...

Some other participating designers were; Kira Goodey & Tane Andrews, inspired by churches & cathedrals, Cherrie Camplin with costumes defining timelessness as moving sculpture, Turkish designer, London College of Fashion tutor Ismail Erbil with his costumes combining weariness and luxury , Swedish designer Wilfried Pletzinger, with his colourful & exciting recycled sportswear collection.
In a nutshell the show has all you would expect and more from a free fashion show!
